Today, we are excited to announce the launch of Mental Health Speakers (mentalhealthspeakers.com.au). The specialist speakers’ bureau brings together a collective of unique voices, ready to share their remarkable experience and leading expertise.
Mental Health Speakers was developed by Mindarma co-founders, Dr Sadhbh Joyce and Jamie Watson. The bureau aims to shine a spotlight on trusted Australian professionals who are performing ground-breaking work and re-shaping how we approach mental health. Many of the speakers have been among the most well-received guests on Mindarma’s popular webinar and podcast series.
Each speaker has been selected not only for their storytelling, but for the depth of their subject matter knowledge and their ability to turn this into action.
“We aim to go beyond raising awareness and present a clear path forward,” says Dr Joyce. “Each speaker brings specialist knowledge, along with years of experience breaking down barriers and driving real world change. These experts understand what it takes to guide others from good intentions to practical next steps.”
For those organising events, the bureau aims to make it far simpler to access speakers who will help progress the mental health conversation. Connecting with leaders in the field can prove transformative, allowing audiences to understand the latest science and how this can be applied in real life settings.
The launch of Mental Health Speakers has come at a time when audiences are becoming far more discerning. Faced with an overwhelming amount of wellness information from marketers and online influencers, most now crave authentic presenters offering clear evidence and genuine expertise.
Dr Sadhbh Joyce believes this level of authentic expertise can make all the difference, saying “there is a wonderful shift that occurs the moment we realise someone is the real deal. We become open, we become curious and we begin to see paths that we can confidently follow forward.”
