Patience Hodgson
Singer, songwriter and performer

Patience Hodgson (she/her) is a singer, songwriter and performer, best known as the bold and energetic lead singer for ARIA-nominated and much loved Meanjin (Brisbane) indie-rock band The Grates.

The band enjoyed much success, touring nationally & internationally, over a period of 15 years. They consistently received high rotation and support from Triple J and graced the main stages of every major contemporary music festival in Australia. Adored by audiences for her dynamic and engrossing performance style, Patience still takes to the stage, regularly performing as a part of cult music trivia night Not On Your Rider.

While her list of creative endeavours is long, some highlights outside of her time in The Grates include:

  • Collaborations with multidisciplinary artist Rachel Burke
  • The Minutes podcast she co-produced with comedian Melinda Buttle
  • Her work with John Patterson creating and operating Southside Tea Room, Death Valley and Red Robin Supper Truck
  • Hosting and facilitating Splendour In The Craft for 5 years
  • Multiple national tours with Rockwiz
  • Countless one-off appearances on stage

Zoe Wooldridge
Wellbeing Program Specialist, NSW Ambulance

As a qualified Psychologist and Wellbeing Specialist with over 14 years mental health experience, Zoe supports organisations to create healthy workforces through expert and professional support, assistance and wellbeing advice. Having successfully led key wellbeing initiatives with NSW Ambulance, Zoe has expertise in designing and developing both online and face-to-face content to engage and educate a diverse workforce.

Invited to speak at a number of national and international forums, Zoe has a demonstrated knowledge and experience of contemporary approaches to organisational strategic wellbeing and a proven track record of translating wellbeing science into practical tools for everyday use.

Dr Tim Sharp
Chief Happiness Officer, The Happiness Institute

Dr. Sharp has three degrees in psychology (including a Ph.D.) and an impressive record as an academic, clinician and coach. He previously ran one of Sydney’s largest clinical psychology practices, a highly regarded Executive Coaching practice, and is the founder & CHO (Chief Happiness Officer) of The Happiness Institute, Australia’s first organisation devoted solely to enhancing happiness in individuals, families, and organisations , which has been his primary focus for more than two decades now.

He’s taught at all the major universities in NSW and is currently an Adjunct Professor (in Positive Psychology) within the School of Management, Faculty of Business at UTS and also an Adjunct Professor (Positive Psychology) within the School of Health Sciences at RMIT University. His main areas of interest include enhancing happiness at work and smashing the stigma associated with mental ill-health (as part of which he often shares his own lived experiences of depression and more).

Dr. Sharp is also a best-selling author (of, among other things, “The Happiness Handbook”, “100 Ways to Happiness: a guide for busy people” and “100 Ways to Happy Children: a guide for busy parents” as well as a series of very successful audiobooks and podcasts), a sought after public speaker, and as a result of his frequent appearances in the local and international media he’s been read and heard by millions of people (http://www.drhappy.com.au).
