  • The neuroscience of self-compassion
  • How self-compassion practises protect against stress and empathic distress
  • This webinar will include a live experiential practise. All learners are welcome. This session is particularly suitable for those working in Service-To-Others occupations: first responders, carers, teachers and health workers. No previous experience required.


    Dr Sadhbh Joyce

    Dr Sadhbh (pronounced Sive) Joyce is the principal psychologist and meditation teacher at Mindarma with experience across clinical, academic and industrial settings. She is an External Fellow with the Black Dog Institute and an Adjunct Lecturer at UNSW Medicine.

    Sadhbh has spent over 13 years providing evidence-based therapy to those struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, bereavement and workplace injury. In 2021 Sadhbh was awarded the Australian Psychological Society’s Significant Contribution Award.

    Along with teaching compassion-based meditation, Sadhbh enjoys poetry, music, bushwalking and learning about Indigenous culture.
